The Granite Dells start at the North end of Watson Lake.

This is only the Peavine portion, as the Dells cover a fairly large area. The Dells are composed of red lava and with the sun setting have a beautiful color. Some where on the trail I discovered the better setting on my Nikon P1, slow learner that I am.

Havasupai Grand Canyon

Alot of people go to the Havaspai Entrance to the Grand Canyon to hike down to the falls, ride a pack train, or a helicopter.

Again I went there once with my Nikon P1 and it was point and click. Later I was to find much better settings.

The Grand Canyon National Park South Rim

My first visit to the Grand Canyon with my Nikon P1 was pretty much point and click. Later I discovered some new much better settings. At 7.8 megapixels viewed on a Irfan Viewer I was wowed! Ok I am left behind as the cameras have evolved and I am sure there are professional photographers put me to shame, I have commented on some of them.

But I am just enjoying sharing some of that which they did not emulate.
